How Serene Wash Sydney handles the personal information you give us. Last updated 18 October 2026.

Serene Wash Sydney("we", "us") runs a laundry and dry cleaning pickup and delivery service in Sydney. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you book a pickup, call us, message us or become a customer, we may collect:

  • your name, phone number, email address and pickup address, including your suburb;
  • the details of your booking: the items and services you choose, your preferred day and time window, how we should collect, and any notes you add;
  • for NDIS participants, the details needed to invoice you or your plan manager, such as your plan manager's name and email. We only ask for what we need to send a correct invoice;
  • a record of the services we provide to you, our invoices and your payments.

We do not collect card numbers through this website. Payments are made by EFTPOS, bank transfer, cash on delivery or direct debit for recurring customers.

How we use it

  • to confirm, collect, clean and return your laundry;
  • to contact you about your booking, including by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email;
  • to send invoices and receipts and keep the records the law requires;
  • to answer your questions and improve our service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to send marketing you have not asked for.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:

  • Vercel, which hosts this website;
  • Neon, which hosts the database where we keep bookings and customer records;
  • Resend, which sends our booking confirmation emails;
  • Google, which provides our email and the advertising and measurement tools below.

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and Japan. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable with the Australian Privacy Principles. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies and advertising

This website uses the Google tag to measure how well our Google Ads work. When you arrive from one of our ads, the tag stores a click identifier in a cookie so Google can tell us whether that visit led to a booking or a phone call. Visitors who arrive from an ad may see a Google forwarding number in place of our usual number, so Google can count calls from ads. Calls to that number come straight through to us.

When you send a booking request, we may share your email address and phone number with Google in hashed (scrambled) form, so Google can match the booking to an ad click without receiving your details in readable form. Google's use of this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage the ads Google shows you at myadcenter.google.com. The website and the booking form work without these cookies.

How we keep it safe

Your information is stored with the providers above, behind password-protected accounts that only the business can access. We keep booking and invoice records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax and legal obligations, then delete them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@serenewashsydney.com.au or call 0452 433 283. We will reply within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. If we cannot resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
